STEAM SARE Project

STEAMsare is a programme created by the Department of Education of the Basque Government with the collaboration of Innobasque, which has generated a network of schools, companies and scientific-technological agents to encourage vocations and professional aspirations in the STEM field, with special attention to female students. IMH participates in this network as a pilot agent and driving force.

Creation of Steam Sare

Erakarri Magnet Project

Pilot project promoted by the Department of Education of the Basque Government, in which Herri Eskola from Elgoibar (Gipuzkoa), Angel Ganivet and Barrutia Herri Ikastetxea from Araba and Bizkaiko Basurto Eskola participate to develop a project together with a technological partner.

The IMH participates as a technological partner of Herri Eskola and the objective will be to promote a scientific-technological vocation among the Herri Eskola students. Working together the subjects of science, technology, mathematics and engineering, they will develop basic and transversal competences.

Elgoibar STEAM

In collaboration with the Elgoibar Town Council, IMH Campus develops several activities to promote industrial vocation in local children and young people, through various programmes:

  • Elgoibar Ekiten: Bringing industry, vocational training and local universities closer to young people from Elgoibar.
  • Robotics workshops for children.
  • Bizilabe Elgoibar Science and Technology Fair.

Debabarrena STEAM Forum

IMH Campus participates in this forum that promotes STEAM vocations in the Debabarrena region.

ABIAN Vocational Training Fair

Debabarrena Vocational Training Fair jointly promoted by the eight vocational training centres, including IMH Campus, Debegesa and the 8 town councils of the region, with the sponsorship of the S.D. Eibar Foundation, regional companies, BPTD and financial institutions. It is held every two years and provides information on the industrial and training activity of the region to both students and guidance staff from the 3-4 Secondary School, 1-2 High School in the region.
