European LCAMP 2025 Networking Camp in Sweden

Two teachers from IMH Vocational Training Integrated Centre have participated from 13 to 15 May in the LCAMP 2025 Networking Camp, held in the town of Finspång (Sweden). The meeting, organised at the Curt Nicolin Gymnasiet centre, brought together VET professionals from all over Europe with an interest in educational innovation and advanced manufacturing.
During the three days of the event, the programme combined practical workshops, visits to companies and spaces for the exchange of experiences about educational systems:
- On the first day, participants worked on key concepts such as Learning Factories, Digital Twins and Mobility Projects through interactive workshops.
- The second day focused on visits to companies such as Siemens Energy, Visualisation Center and KL-Industri, where they were able to learn first-hand about real examples of advanced manufacturing.
- The last day included a visit to a local educational centre to learn more about how the vocational training system works in Sweden.
The event is part of the European project LCAMP (Learner Centric Advanced Manufacturing Platform), which aims to promote collaboration between centres of excellence in Vocational Training and develop innovative educational proposals focused on key competences in advanced manufacturing.
The experience has been very enriching for IMH teachers, both from a professional point of view and because of the international cooperation opportunities generated. Thanks to the knowledge acquired and the new links established, it is hoped to continue building future collaboration opportunities that will benefit both the students and the teaching staff of the centre.
