AI4Ed project: Summary of the closing event

On May 7th, the AI4Ed project partners came together to evaluate and share the outcomes of this AI-supported educational journey.

The final event of the AI4Ed project – “Towards an AI-Driven Educational Process” – took place on May 7th, 2025, at IMH Campus, marking the end of two years of continuous collaboration and educational innovation.

This hybrid event brought together partners, educators, researchers, and pedagogical stakeholders from across Europe.

AI to foster future-ready skills

AI4Ed has aimed to prepare learners for the future by promoting critical thinking, learning-to-learn abilities, and personal initiative. The project built bridges between educational culture and real-world challenges, boosting both technical and social skills, while aligning student talent with market needs.

The coordinator from IMH Campus opened the event by outlining the project’s main goals: to move towards more ethical, personalized, and inclusive learning experiences in Europe through the responsible use of artificial intelligence.

The event showcased the work carried out in AI4Ed’s main focus areas: the development of AI models, data management and digital content, teacher training, and the implementation and validation of real-life use cases.

All these efforts aimed to promote personalized and inclusive learning through an ethical lens.

This session featured contributions from several project partners: ALCHEMY, UNIZAR, UBREMEN, IMH Campus, SCSKZ, CENFIM, and others involved in piloting the AI tools. They shared both outcomes and challenges encountered throughout the process.

The second half of the event featured real-world testimonies:

  • Nerea Arregi, from IMH Campus, along with dual engineering students Kepa and Asier, discussed their hands-on experience with the chatbot. (VIDEO AVAILABLE)

Closing

The event concluded with a clear message: when applied with ethical and pedagogical intention, artificial intelligence has great potential to transform education.
AI4Ed leaves behind valuable tools, strategies, and a strong network for future collaboration across Europe.
