An enriching experience with Dual Engineering students from the ENSMAC in Bordeaux.

IMH Campus has hosted for third year, a group of French students of the last year of Dual Engineering in Mechanics and Materials to offer them a specific training in our Additive Manufacturing Area, completing their training with a visit to two representative companies in this field, Bronymec, Mizar Additive Manufacturing and Tecnalia, where they have been able to learn about the practical application of these technologies in various sectors such as health, industrial...

Additive Manufacturing Week

Led by Xabier Cearsolo, Maitane Gabilondo and Mario Arrue, experts from the IMH Campus Additive Manufacturing team, the students learned about the different technologies, with a special section on the Additive Manufacturing of metallic materials. They also had contact with LPBF (Laser Powder Bed Fusion) technology, both in the part preparation phase, adding substrates and defining parameters, as well as printing on Renishaw's AM250 machine.

Our thanks to ENSMAC and its students for trusting in IMH and to Bronymec, Mizar Additive Manufacturing and Tecnalia for facilitating the dissemination and the approach of young talents to new ways of working in Smart Industry.

No doubt we will continue collaborating!

Additive Manufacturing, a strategic guideline for IMH Campus

IMH Campus develops an important activity around Additive Manufacturing, being one of its main strategic lines of action, with projects in collaboration with companies and technology centres, and university specialisation training in AF, vocational training specialisation in AF and continuous training.
