In the IMH our aim is to support the creation of new enterprises, more exactly we want to support the entrepreneurship of industrial enterprises.
The entrepreneurship of industrial enterprises is more difficult than the entrepreneurship in the service sector, a number of barriers that help to understand the lowest rate of ongoing projects.
On one hand, it requires expensive infrastructure (mainly machinery) from the beginning of the activity and its funding is often one of the main obstacles to an entrepreneurial project.
Furthermore, the uptake of opportunities is much more difficult because they are not in social life, but are usually gaps that arise close to the activity of the industrial enterprise so, not being previously in the productive field, it does not reveal its features and identify new business opportunities.
If the enterprise requires and pulse for execution, in the case of industrial undertaking, these have to be redoubled.
The IMH have the necessary infrastructure to give an adequate response to this challenge:
- we have facilities (machinery)
- we have a multidisciplinary expertise
- a powerful network of connections with industry
- and our students
We undertake together.
